Week antenna
So I never did figure out how to play that movie, lol. But, what bugs me more is that the wifi doesn't work when other computers around me are picking it up fine. If there's one thing a computer like this should have, it's a strong antenna/wifi connection.

Superb, especially at this price!
Tremendous Chromebook. It's got a solid build quality, the screen is the best I've seen at this price range, and it's a really snappy device overall. The only critique I could offer is that I really wish there was expandable storage, and the entire CB is a lot heavier than I would have expected. It feels like a full-fledged laptop. I bought this at $195 a week ago, so I'm more than a little bummed they've already dropped the price by $15 haha.

Acer 14" Chromebook CB3-431-C5FM
From http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/chromebook-buying-advice: "A Chromebook is a laptop of a different breed. Instead of Windows 10 or Mac OS X, Chromebooks run Google's Chrome OS. These machines are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. As a result, these clamshells don't have a ton of onboard storage, but they don't have very large price tags, either." Still getting to know this "computer." Seems to be just fine as far as quickly loading multiple web pages, YouTube videos, and it has good resolution and decent speed...However, I went to plug in a flash drive to watch a movie and it started playing the movie but there was no sound. Thought it might have been the movie file (.mkv) but then I plugged it into my friends macbook and VLC played it no problem. Still haven't figured out how to play it on the chromebook. I think the biggest thing to be aware of is that Chromebooks are not "normal computers" exactly. You won't be able to install software like Excel or Word, you'll have to use Google apps instead. The way I see it, it's basically a tablet in the form of a laptop. And for $206 (refurbished...) I'm not disappointed with it's performance.
