Good 144hz monitor besides drawbacks
This monitor is good, not great. If it was great it would come with the cable that helps you achieve the 144hz refresh rate, however if only comes with a standard DVI cable. The color is also washed out, I have yet to be able to get crisp colors out of it from tweaking the settings. If you can get passed that, it’s a good monitor for the price you pay.

Great so far
This monitor arrived yesterday. It looks great. It arrived with no dead pixels. It does take a little bit to turn on, and its a very bright monitor. I have heard complaints about colors being weird but i did not have any right off the bat. The only actual complaint i have is that it comes with a single link dvi cable and not the dual link that is necessary to use the 144hz that this monitor has. Be sure to budget one in as well if you are looking to get this monitor since that's hopefully the main reason you are looking at getting this.

Good monitor, insane deal
Great monitor and a great deal. My only complaint is that while I did come with a DVI cable, it was not the dual link cable necessary for achieving 144hz.

Good Deal
The cheapest 144hz monitor i found, works great needs a dual dvi cabel to achieve 144hz and is also a little bright but its no big deal.

Good not great
New to buying monitors. Bought this because I got it refurbished for $154. Immediately out of the box it comes with a VGA cable and a dvi cable (which is the wrong dvi cable than what the monitor uses which is required to reach 144Hz. So seems stupid of Acer to do that. And apparently that's how they send them all out according to other reviews I have read.) The monitor isn't packaged very safely so could be damaged easily. It's literally in a plastic bag in cardboard, but mine came in great (perfect I think. Haven't noticed anything yet) condition. The colours kinda do suck and it takes a while to adjust the brightness and contrast and gamma and colours to your liking but as soon as you get it how you like after a few days of fiddling it's not too bad. I like the colours cooler and it's initially set up pretty warm. Otherwise performance is good I have not been able to try the dvi output for 144Hz performance yet. It does it's job well. Also the monitor doesn't have speakers just be aware.
