  Clearly damaged screen, great laptop overall

  First, one negative. The day I received this laptop and opened it up, I noticed a large chip in the screen. I instantly knew this was going to affect the picture so I turned it on. No matter what moght be on the screen, the chip in the screen illuminates as a bright white, all the time. I know this is a refurbished laptop, but sending out a laptop with a clearly damaged screen, purchased for close to $1,400, is unacceptable to me. I am currently in contact with Acer to get this screen repaired but so far nothing is being done. I will update this review upon final decisions. This laptop is incredible. I love the layout of every feature and the aggressive style. When you open it up it looks like a gaming laptop but also feels like a quality crafted and appealing piece. It's incredibly quick with the OS on the ssd and the gtx 1070 handles almost every game with ease on ultra settings. The addition of the cooler master that replaces the optical drive is a cool little feature that further increases the already fantastic cooling system this laptop has. The keyboard feels great typing on it compared to other laptops. For the money, you cannot beat this buy.

  Love this beast. Was gonna buy it on Amazon but after research Acer no tax. Thank you guys great product seriously new I know its referb but this is new. Again Thank You
